January Review: Australis Conceal Correct 4-in-1 Concealer Corrector Palette

The new Australis Concealer Corrector 4-in-1 Palette comes in cute pink and black packaging. The size of the palette is very handy for throwing into your makeup bag when you’re on the go. The purple and green correctors each have a unique correcting purpose. The green corrector masked the red, patchy areas around my nose and cheeks – something that no other makeup base has been able to do. The purple corrector worked wonders on the dark rings under my eyes and the yellow-toned concealers covered any other blemishes and spots. The Australis Concealer Corrector 4-in-1 is a ‘must have’ for any girl on the go. With a retail price of $18.90 there’s no excuse not to carry one in your makeup bag.

When you first open the compact, it is split into two different levels.  The top contains green concealer which is really good at hiding the broken capillaries under my eyes and redness around my nose.  On the bottom level there is a purple concealer which I found was not that great at concealing dark circles and was very light. Next to each of these coloured concealers was two shades of skin-tone concealer to use on top of makeup or on days where I wanted to go foundation-free.  I feel that it is a very valuable item to have in your handbag and the little mirror inside is perfect for touch ups when you’re on the go.  The 4-in-1 design meant that there was no longer a need to carry multiple concealers which was easier than purchasing all the different concealer colours.  I would definitely recommend this to friends and it is especially helpful to people who’s skin is prone to breakouts, helping to cover up little imperfections.  At RRP$18.90, this is a steal as a single concealer may cost the same price.  It is very good value for money and I will most certainly keep using this little corrector palette.

I really loved this concealer. Firstly, it is a 4 in 1 so that is a huge plus. I’d never used a concealer in a different colour than skin tone before so I was interested to see how this performed. It comes in a really snappy little compact with a mirror inside which is great. The 4 shades you get (green (for redness), mauve (to lighten dark areas such as under the eye), and 2 skin tone shades) suited my skin tone and went on smoothly when I applied them. The coverage was good and it didn’t “sit” on top of your skin like some concealers do. The product recommends layering the different shades to get the coverage you want. Australis suggest you set the concealer with powder once you have applied it but even without this I found it long lasting.
For $18.90 I think this product lives up to its claims and is great value for money. I would definitely use this concealer again and recommend it to others.

So the lovely team here at 24/7 Girl sent me the Australis 4 in 1 concealer corrector palette to test out. Now as they say, you should never judge a book by its cover, but when it really comes down to it, first impressions really count when trying new products. My initial thoughts were the packaging was bold, girly yet compact - ideal for throwing into your handbag or school bag whilst on the go. This “hot little flip kit, with a built in mirror” is a must have for every girl! It’s perfect for hiding blemishes, counteracting redness/pigmentation and vanishing fine lines. With four skin perfecting shades, it allows you to customize the shade for the most suitable match to your natural skin colour. It works a treat, it’s creamy, blend-able, and stays put. I will definitely be recommending this product to others. Not only are you purchasing a concealer but a corrector as well; what more could a ‘complexion perfection’ lusting girl want?! At only $18.90 it is not only a bargain, but perfect for girls on a budget!
