Name: Julie-anne Bennett Review: My name is Julie-anne & I reviewed this product on my 9 year old niece over the weekend as the weather was superb. Firstly I found that when you sprayed it on it came out evenly, I was at the beginning holding the can a bit close to the skin which was making white patches but when you spray from the distance recommend it definitely does the trick. I like it because you can turn the can upside down and use it also, so it is good for covering the back of the legs and arms, and I found that you can even do the back of your neck with ease. It had a pleasant smell almost like a citrus smell which is a nice change from the usual chemical smell & it wasn’t greasy at all. My niece enjoyed using this product because it was something she could use herself and I noticed that when she got out of the pool she would reapply without having to be told as she quite liked spraying it all over the place & she like the idea of not having to dry off before applying it which meant she had more time for playing in the pool, definitely a bonus for them to be able to apply themselves, so I would definitely recommend people buy this product for your kids. |

Name: Samantha Tuaupiki Review: I’m Samantha and my children are Trent (12) and Quinn (9). We were excited to be chosen to review Neutrogena Wet Skin sunblock spray but we didn’t think it would work. Even if it sprayed on OK on wet skin I had the feeling it would wash off as soon as we got back into the water. The first thing was to do a patch test. Quinn and I both suffer from eczema and we’re allergic to a lot of sunblocks. We sprayed a small amount onto our forearms, rubbed it in and left it overnight. No reaction – cool! We decided to try it on one dry arm and one wet arm each to see the difference between the two. The sunblock spray smells really nice and fresh but not overpowering. Another plus. You can feel it still on your skin when you rub it in but it’s not greasy. And, amazingly, once we applied it to a wet arm and then rinsed the arm under the tap, it didn’t come off! Trent and Quinn are old enough to know the importance of reapplying sunscreen on a regular basis and don’t make a fuss about it. I think this product is aimed at younger children with less patience but it was so easy to apply that we’ll definitely be using it this summer.

Name: Charlotte Kidgell Review: My name is Charlotte and I have two sons aged 9 and 6. I found this product really easy to use, and the kids gave it their seal of approval too! We all really like the citrus fragrance, and the locking lid and size of the bottle are great for when you’re on the go. It works equally well on wet or dry skin and doesn’t drip or whiten when applied. It also doesn’t make your skin feel greasy or sticky like other sunblock products can. Being a busy Mum, it’s great to be able to reapply sunblock between swims without having to dry the kids off first which makes it so much easier to keep them protected from the sun. I would recommend this product to others and it will be a must in the swimming bag for us this summer! |

Name: Cherie Williams Review: First impression was a nice subtle scent not to over powering and it was great to use a spray on Sunscreen so much easier and no complaints from my son. As the Spray absorbed so quickly, no heavy creamy feeling that he always complains about, no having to wait till he was dry which was very convenient .I also noticed that after a day in the sun there was absolutely no tan line whatsoever on him which was very impressive as he normally burns very easily being paled skin. Sienna didn’t spend a day in the sun but did spray some on after the shower, once again no heavy creamy drippy substance just an easy light application and she was done with no reaction at all. Overall I would give this product a 10/10 and would definitely recommend this product in the future. Just made life so much easier no stress, no fuss from the kids. Will be putting this on my list to buy this summer that’s for sure. Neutrogena Wet Skin for Kids and the beach and pool is definitely the way to go!

Name: Rebecca Margetts This weekend, Neutrogena Wet Skin got a great work out as we were away on a camping holiday with friends. There were 7 children were aged from 8 to 14. The weather was wonderful on Sunday and after months being covered up, all the kids were keen to don their swimsuits and hit the beach. They spent the whole day in and out of the water. Reapplying sunscreen, which kids do not like as it takes up valuable playing time, was a breeze. Rather than going to their own mothers standing there with tubes, they all queued up in front of me to be “sprayed” as it was a lot quicker and they could get back in the water faster! I will definitely continue to use Wet Skin Neutrogena for its ease and coverage

Name: Tessa Thurston Review: I’m Tessa and I have a 4 year old boy, Oliver and a 22 month old girl, Paige. We received the Neutrogena Wet Skin Sunblock for kids about 10 days ago and we were excited to try it out! The next day the kids showered in the morning, so we sprayed it straight on. First thing I noticed was how different it smelled to normal sunscreen! It has a faint citrus smell which we all really enjoyed. The Neutrogena Wet Skin sprayed on easily and didn’t just sit on top of the water but seem to blend in with it and there was no big white drips running down their arms and legs. Was such a nice suprise to see how well it really worked. I found this much easier than rubbing my kids from head to toe with sunscreen and having them fight me. This is definitely our new favourite. Thanks 24/7 Girl for this awesome trial. Cant wait for the beach now, bring on summer

Name: Jo-Ann Hogan Review: What a great product, not only did I use it on the kids while they were playing in the water - with ease as it was quick and they did not have to stop what they were doing to be really lathered up. But I also used it on my husband while he was outside putting in some hard work and even though he was sweating it went on easy and he also commented that it was nice and cool.

Name: Amy Rhind Review: I am Amy, I’m a stay at home mum from Taupo. I have two wonderful children Ella aged 5 and Fabian aged 3. We tried the Neutrogena Wet Skin Sunblock the day it arrived when the kids had a bath (as its too cold for swimming in the lake just yet!), I found that the product stayed on skin for about an hour even after the kids had put it on and had been in the bath for 20mins. You could tell it was on skin as it has a glossy shine.

Name: Samantha Stillwell Review: Auckland hasn’t seen all that much sun in the last few weeks but we have a spa in the garden with natural thermal hot water so the kids spend a lot of time in the water. I haven’t found a sunscreen that is easy to apply and non greasy for them until now! The Neutrogena wet skin sunscreen is fantastic! Its super easy to apply, smells lovely, isn’t a white greasy mess and its trustworthy

my daughter has a high number of moles that cover alot of her body and constantly having to slip slop slap every 15min at the beach or home when she is in and out of the water all the time is a major hassel for us and her!! Posted by TattooEbz "on" 01/09 "at"11:01 AM |

It’s such a hassel putting on sunblock by hand after a quick dip in the sea, everything is so oily and often does not rub in properly..leaving horrible tan lines! This product sounds great, good for adults and kids so we can have a safe tan-line free summer! Posted by sundy05 "on" 01/09 "at"10:51 AM |

Having to get the kids out of the water, drying them then rubbing on sunscreen, which is really horible to rub on if they are not dry properly, and they don’t want to stand still for you to do, and then they are straight back in the water and you left worrying about weather it got on all good and has stayed on all good!! As a teenager, sunscreen isn’t the most appealing thing to do on a hot summer day. Especially with your mates around, let’s face it, it’s not such a great look. But what is even more annoying about sun cream is the gooey-ness and the tacky-ness that comes along with the price of suncream. When it’s beach time, sand gets everywhere and this results in an awful grainy feeling. Not so great. And applying after swims, and every hour. oh, the hassle we pay for a sun-smart life. my biggest hassle with sunscreen i find is it is always too thick and sticky and yuck feeling and makes your face all shiny and yuck looking and also that sand sticks to it as well and i sunblocked up heaps this summer and have still got sunburn which defeats the purpose of sunblock i would love a sunblock that actually works asd i do not enjoy sunburn or sticky sunscreen lol Posted by 24330 "on" 01/06 "at"01:59 PM |

the thing I hate most about reapplying sunblock is: *Whenever I want to go swimming at the beach or in a pool, mum always tells me to put sunblock on and without the right sunblock it comes off really easily! *When I put too much sunblock on, when its a really hot day, my skin goes really oily and greasy because of it but I know that this new product won’t Posted by moni* "on" 01/05 "at"09:32 AM |
| There are 3 things I really can’t stand about most sunblocks.. 1. I have sensitive skin so I have to be careful what sunblocks I use. 2. I don’t like the greasy texture. 3. Most sunblocks rinse of in water, so I’m always having to reapply them, so I go through them alot more than I should have to. I mean Sunblocks pretty expensive so yeah.. I stick to Neutrogena sunblocks because they agree with my skin and just seem to give overall good protection, cause who likes getting burnt?! Would love the kids sunscreen - its so expensive to buy decent sunscreen that stays on wet or dry, and does its job well….also spray on is soo much easier to put on kids as they dont tend to stand still for long ! Posted by dekirks "on" 12/31 "at"09:23 PM |

I am an avid sports person and particularly love my Ultimate Frisbee. I find being outside playing all the hot sun you get quite the sweat on, and trying to apply sunscreen mid game because you know you have sweat off the first lot is nigh impossible. Every summer I visit Spain for the whole summer, as I used to live there, and it is so annoying when you are trying to put suntan lotion on you get sand stuck to you and when as soon as you put it on it washes of in the sea or the swimming pool. I just hope I win this as it would be amazingly simple to use !! Posted by toni.cox4 "on" 12/30 "at"06:12 AM |

biggest issue with sunblock is sand getting into both damp skin after swimming and the sunblock on application at the beach. Then when you rub its like an awful exfoliation. this will make application far easier. Posted by Claudia H "on" 12/22 "at"04:57 PM |

I have four children. 3 of them 4 and under and going to the beach/pool is a big to do!! Trying to get the children to stop for long enough to get dry and have the sunscreen redone is annoying. If we are at the beach, you can never completely wipe off the sand before redoing it and the sand sticks to the sunscreen and irratates their sensitive skin. I don’t like how after swimming you have to dry off before reapplying sunblock otherwise it goes all icky. And when you dry off you’re sure to get sand sticking to your semi-damp body which is horrible with sunblock. Posted by Graceyxo "on" 12/20 "at"05:03 PM |

Reapplying, that is the major hassle for me I put the sunscreen on first thing after the shower but I forget to re-apply after I swim, or take an afternoon shower or bath and end up burning. Even though I tell myself time and time again I forget, plus I hate its feel, but love smoothing on a yummy scented body lotion then feel its effects ruined by sun screen. We live by the beach and I hate having to dry off the kids to apply sunscreen and then given them abrasions in the process because of sand coming off the towels and sticking to their skin. And because my children all have very fair skin I have to reapply every 2 hours so they get very irritated skin. :( Posted by Jade87 "on" 12/20 "at"04:32 PM |

Chasing 3 kids around the house to apply sunblcok on them, or bribing them to get out of the pool so i can then dry them off and then reapply the sunblock every couple of hours. My biggest problem with sunblock is banging on the bottle to get it out! There are times that it is a problem to keep reapplying sunscreen after you are in the water for a while. Sometimes it is difficult to rub it in well, when you are wet and you look like you have been smeared head to toe in toothpaste or white shoe polish. I hope this is much better. As a girl with very fair, freckled skin, I have plenty of experience with sunblock! I really don’t like the sticky feel to it. It can make you feel greasy and miserable while trying to enjoy your fun in the sun. I spend alot of time at the beach, and sunblock’s sticky nature covers you with sand! Also when swimming it can run into your eyes which we all know can be very painful!! But what I find the most frustrating is when you take the time to rub in sunblock, and yet some little area still always ends up exposed and burnt. This new product sounds great! It will be a must have at the beach for summer. I can’t wait to try it. Posted by 19427 "on" 12/15 "at"11:26 PM |

Thinking that you have done a fantastic job of applying sunblock only to find out the next day that you missed a spot (or in my case an arm). Another one is being extremely vigilant with sunblock and still getting covered with more freckles - a few is cute but thousands is annoying especially when they look green against sunburned skin. Another is having a mother who didn’t consider it important to cover her redhaired, freckle-faced daughter in any sun protection. I also have a red-haired son so either adult or kids one will do for us. Posted by leelee1994 "on" 12/15 "at"08:21 PM |

Every year since I was two, I have been going camping at a beach up North during the summer holidays. And every year, I end up sun burned. I really dislike how sunblock makes my skin oily, even after it has been washed off, especially on my face. It’s also horrible trying to apply sunblock when you’re covered in sand, and even more so because I have sensitive skin, and the sand rubs the skin. This will keep my skin feeling good, and will protect me this summer. Posted by 34392 "on" 12/15 "at"12:21 PM |

The biggest hassle i’ve got to say is when you want to chill but every few hours you have to reapply sunscreen because of the intense u.v rays of the sun. another annoying hassle is when you have to apply sunscreen-go swimming-get out and reapply it. this hassle just makes me not want to even bother which resulted with major sunburn on mm neck and shoulders. My husband is a lawn mowing contractor, and after a long long time of me BEGGING him to re-apply his sunscreen AT LEAST once during the day I’m happy to say he’s become a good boy and does what he is told…at least I think he does! Well…no major sunburns over the past few months, so that’s a good sign! He always tells me the biggest hassle for him is his sweating, and especially the sunscreen running into his eyes…but it’s worth the hassle if you ask me, beats looking after a husband with sunburn..or worse…;p Posted by Moose Mahon "on" 12/13 "at"02:06 PM |

This sunscreen seems so great! Often I don’t realise I need sunblock until after I’m in the water (silly me, I know) and it is such a pain to have to dry off to rub in sunscreen which sand always just sticks to and rubs off automatically, this is a great idea and I will definitely try it! :D Posted by alicia.s "on" 12/12 "at"10:59 PM |
