Easy Updo: Low Chignon
The hair created for the J Mendel New York Fashion Week show was a seventies inspired low chignon, an easy updo that could be recreated for a school ball, wedding or other event that requires some effort in the hair department.
Hair was blowdried with Redken Satin wear and a round brush to give a light, clean and shiny texture.
It was then pulled low into the nape from a clean centre parting and twisted into a very low flat chignon before being pinned and sprayed into place with Fashionwork Hairspray.

Richard what do I do? I have long blonde hair that I hardly ever do anything with. It’s very light but unusualy thick (or so my mum tells me)! I wanted to go drastic and get it cut short but mum wouldn’t let me. How can I perfect this look when my hair won’t do what I want it to do?! Posted by TheAssassin'sDaughter "on" 03/01 "at"06:38 PM |
Best of the rest
