Long Hair Makeover
Meet Grace. Grace won the chance to give her long hair a makeover in the Rodney Wayne makeover competition.
She came to us with ash blonde hair past her shoulders. Fine, but lots and lots of it!
Here’s what she looked like before…

Christie beard from Rodney Wayne Whangarei cut Grace’s hair below the collarbone, leaving it full at the bottom, and layered it through the top to give it movement and texture. She also added a full fringe, kissing the eyelids, to draw attention to Grace’s beautiful eyes.
Ben Williams from Rodney Wayne Cuba Mall, Wellington, coloured Grace’s hair with a gorgeous gold from L’oreal Luocolor and added some highlights using a balliage technique.
The style was finished by blowdrying Redken Satinwear into the midlenghts and ends and lightly curling with a large curling iron before spraying with Redken Forceful Hairspray to add texture, hold and humidity protection.

I think the easiest way to make long hair look better is to get layers. i cut this girls hair once and she had really think long hair all the same length. once i had finished it looked amazing and framed her face perfectly. if u still what the same length its the best way to go. Apart from the fact that they have put make up on her in the 2nd photo and not in the 1st i do think the hairstyle made a difference. It really suits her face shape wich is important, cause you could get a cool hairstyle but it might not necessarily suit your face shape. its important to look for the right hairstyle!
