Product: Rimmel LYCRA® Pro Nail Polish and NEW LYCRA® Pro Matte Finish Top Coat, $11.99 each
What it does: The latest additions to the Rimmel London LYCRA® Pro nail colour palette promise a smooth and super glossy finish for up to 10 days, and the new LYCRA® Pro Matte Finish Top Coat boasts the power to mattify any nail polish - can’t wait to see that!
First impressions: I love the brush, it fits perfectly on my nail and gets into all the little areas other brushes usually miss.
Performance: The matte finish top coat is such a cool idea! It gave my nails a whole new look, definitely a keeper. The polish went on fantastic and dried quickly. It lasted a good 7 days without chipping, not the full 10 days it claimed, but still great results.
Application tips: When using the matte top coat make sure you apply it right down the sides of the nail, otherwise you’ll be left with shiny edges (not such a cool look, as I found out).
To sum it up… the brush was my favorite thing! I was amazed at how fast it took me to do my own nails and how truly professional it looked.
