How much should you pay for skin care?
The price you pay for a product doesn’t necessarily reflect its quality, so there’s no right or wrong amount to spend on your skin care needs.
You can get some great products at bargain prices and great ones that break the bank. Likewise, not all expensive products work wonders and cheap ones can let you down as well.
There’s a lot of things to take into account when it comes to getting great skin. Your genes, diet, environment and lifestyle all play a part. But the most important thing to consider is your skin type and needs, price tag aside. Whether the toner you use costs 5 or 50 dollars is irrelevant if it’s not working for you.

So true! I use honey and crushed almonds as like a facial mask! It stops your T zone from getting so greasy and you won’t get as many black heads either!
I also use fresh squeezed orange juice as toner! It works wonders and your not putting any nasty chemicals in your skin. Posted by suniasunshine "on" 11/26 "at"05:36 PM |

I use clinique products because I have dry skin and I found supermarket products to be drying on my skin. I have clinique for dry/combo skin and it’s definitely the best. I also use the foundation because they compliment each other. My advice to everyone is: Don’t mix skin care products. They’re made to clash with each other. Don’t use a clean and clear cleanser with a neutrogena moisteriser. It won’t benefit you at all. Posted by 29478 "on" 10/27 "at"04:20 PM |
| I have incredibly sensitive skin-to the point where I can’t use sunblock on my face because it starts burning, some of the expensive sun blocks actually cause a bigger reaction than others! Honey and other natural products are great though, so soothing! Posted by Christy Rose "on" 10/25 "at"12:01 PM |
| I agree with Cort, do your research first. Ask friends what works for them and why and always ask your pharmacist what they would recommend- that’s what they’re there for! I have used all different products/prices and I agree just because it’s expensive doesn’t mean its the best as everyone has different skin. I love the clean and clear moisturiser, its way cheap but its super light and does what it should Posted by emily.jean "on" 10/24 "at"02:18 PM |

my friend has a skin therapist and the best thing to use is the head and shoulders shampoo. i know it sounds silly but i had really bad skin and i used it and its much better now ! you just use moisturizer after wards but remember to wash off the shampoo! | I don’t use really cheap stuff, like it’s a bit more expensive than something like garnier but I definatly don’t use something as expensive as clinique. I use what works for my skin. But to be fair the clinique products are of amazing quality so I can see why people use them. Posted by Sakura "on" 10/17 "at"05:34 PM |

I use as little as necessary when putting products on, a teaspoon size amount of cleanser isn’t going to clean your face any better than a pearl sized amount so why use more than you have to. Posted by Bobannie "on" 10/11 "at"02:06 PM |

I use clinique because it works perfectly for me—and it is really expensive. Something like $180 for the whole 3 step system :/ Posted by 29478 "on" 10/11 "at"12:09 AM |

I agree that a high price doesn’t necessarily equate to a brilliant product. Often products are really expensive because of their costly advertising campaigns, not what’s in the jar! Posted by 16848 "on" 10/10 "at"08:21 PM |

I reckon supermarket products are just as good as these high brand products only available in pharmacies and other shops. But that may only be for some skin types. The prices are cheaper too Posted by POWERBALLIN25 "on" 08/11 "at"10:19 PM |
