Hair products we love

Redken

New: Redken Power Tame 16, $34.00

Free flowing locks look great on some people, but the ‘no effort’ approach doesn’t work for us all. Coarse, unmanagable hair needs a helping hand, and that’s exactly what Redken’s new Power Tame 16 offers. The intense straightening balm is enriched with strengthening protein and moisturising olive and coconut oils that help slim the hair down and transform unruly textures. And it offers protection against heat – which we love!

PanteneTried and True: Pantene 3 minute Miracle, $2.99 each

It’s official…Pantene’s 3 Minute Miracle is the number one selling hair treatment product in New Zealand supermarkets today. But what we’re really lovin’ about Pantene’s 3 Minute Miracle is that it’s now available in convenient single-use travel packs! So if you haven’t given it a chance to work its magic on your hair yet, now’s the time!

Wow, lucky i don’t use Pantene then. Kerastace is really good! and they have little rituals for all types of hair just like the little Pantene thing but better

pantene just coats your hair like silicon. but it doesnt actually have silicon in it. its also bad if your wanting to color your hair because the color wont stick to your hair. it slides off the coating.

my hairdresser told me pantene just coats the hair so it feels nice but doesn’t actually treat it. it is prob better to spend a bit more $ and get a better brand

Pantene layers your hair with silion which makes it look nice and shiny, but once you wash your hair with a diff shampoo it tends to get really knotty easy, and damages your hair. I know i’m a hair dresser.

I heard that Pantene is actually really bad for your hair because of the high amounts of silicon in it?
