Simple tips for applying eyeliner
How do you make your eyeliner look professional and well done?
Eyeliner is a powerful product. It can take your look from fun to serious, cute to sexy or casual to dressy with one little line. But creating that little line isn’t always easy!
First up, you’ve got to choose the right product. Liquid liner looks glamourous and dramatic, but isn’t as easy to work with as a pencil. Creams generally have great staying power, but they set super quick. And that’s all before you’ve even started the application prosess! The main thing to remember is practice can make perfect, so don’t be afraid to give it a go and make a mistake.
Here’s a few pointers to help get you started:
1. If you’re wearing eyeshadow as well as liner, the eyeliner should go on last.
2. When applying eyeliner, pull your eyelid up at the corner of your brow bone. This will create a firm, smooth surface for you to work with.
3. Dot a series of short lines along your lashline then connect them. This is a great way to apply eyeliner when you’re starting out. Think of it like having training wheels on, then when you’re confident enough you can take them off and start creating lines in one fell swoop!
4. Less is more. Heavy eyeliner can look great in some situations, but 9 times out of 10 a soft, a defining line is all you need.

I usually wear pencil eyeliner but have found that it smudges a lot, good for those who want that effect hahaha, have recently bought a liquid liner and these tips are really worth a try.
