QUIZ: Fake or Bake?

 Tan

A glowing tan looks fab, but are the UV rays really worth it? Find out if it’s time you stepped out of the sun to save your skin?

What is your standard method of tanning?
1) Sun worshipping outside!
2) Sun worshiping in a machine
3) Fake tan

What SPF do you use?
1) 30 SPF
2) 15 SPF
3) 45 SPF

Do you moisturise after a day in the sun to keep your skin hydrated and replenished?
1) Only if you have time
2) Yes, every night
3) No, not really, but doesn’t sunscreen already have moisturiser in it!

Would you consider fake tanning over sitting in the sun?
1) No, you don’t want to be orange
2) Of course, once you find a good brand it’s the best option
3) When the sun’s not shining

Does the thought of wrinkles and lots of freckles put you off sitting in the sun?
1) Not really, a glowing tan tops everything else!
2) Yes, you don’t want to look all leathery when you’re older
3) A little bit, but you still love to have a tan

How often do you burn? On purpose or by accident…
1) The first time you hit the sun in summer – your skin is not used to it
2) You push it to the limit every time you are in the sun
3) You try really hard not to, but sometimes the sunscreen doesn’t do the trick

Do you take special care of your face?
1) Yes especially your face, loads of sunscreen, a hat and sunnies are a must!
2) Yep, you always cover up and try to wear a hat
3) You want that bronzed look for your face too, so sunnies and a little sunscreen are it

I’m naturally pretty tan already so when I get tan, I get TAN. Seriously, my skin looks like a chocolate shake.

OMG! Same. People love my hair colour and they say that they wish they had my hair but i woulf=d rather have blonde or brunette hair instead. Not goldey, browny.

YOUR RESULTS:

Fake tan all the way for you! There is no way that you will jeopardise the only skin you’ve got by hanging out in the sun all day! You love to look tanned but only if it comes from a bottle. You pride yourself on your sun sense and look forward to few less wrinkles in years to come.

YOUR RESULTS:

You love the sun but you’re also aware of the dangers. While you will take every opportunity to get out there and see the sun in the holidays, you’ll also invest in a good fake tan to get you through the rest of summer. Glowing skin is great, but not the be all and end all for you.

i have naturally tan skin and if i do go in the sun, i go browner and my hair goes even blonder! even with heaps of sunscreen and trying to stay in the shade. I hate it how everyone assumes i am stupid enough to lie cooking in the sun.

I have never understood why people want to look like they’ve been stupid enough to spend time in the sun! Any colour from the sun is skin damage and even fake tan makes people look like they think a tan is important. Uh, why? I could never care for or respect someone who thinks a tan (fake or sun damage) looks good. People who spend time in the sun are slowly killing themselves. I have not been in the sun since the mid 1980s as the dangers were not fully known until then. I now have freckles, some wrinkles and sun-damaged areas of skin. I truly regret ever sun bathing and I’m not looking forward to having skin cancers chopped out of my body.
