Get up close and personal with Altiyan!
Fans will have the chance to get up close and personal with The X Factor Australia winner Altiyan Childs when he performs and signs copies of his new self-titled album, in stores Saturday December 11th, at The Warehouse Sylvia Park, Auckland on Sunday 12th December, at 2pm.
Altiyan’s debut album relives his X Factor journey through the final 12 including re-recorded studio tracks of some of his performances on the show. Tracks include Livin’ On A Prayer, Never Tear Us Apart, Hey Soul Sister and Lady In Red, as well as recordings of his standout performance of Summer of 69 and his winning single, Somewhere in the World, which debuted Top 5 in New Zealand after only three days of official sales!

The Edge Xmas Factor - who will you be giving your money to?
Jay-Jay, Mike and Dom from the Edge morning show have each recorded a Xmas song, which will all be for sale on itunes for one week only from December 13. The aim of the game is to have the top selling song at the end of the week, and all profits will go to the charity of the winner’s choice.
Dom has written a Jingle Bells rap that Scribe has volunteered his voice on, Mike has recorded a Xmas ballad with Jason Kerrison that Jason wrote, called Nothing More for Xmas, and Jay-Jay has a naughty pop song called XXXmas, written and sung with Seth Haapu.

Just when you thought Paris Hilton was as dumb as she could get, she turns up to do community service in heels.
Paris Hilton kicked off her 200 hours of community service - which was part of the sentence given to her after she pleaded guilty to drug possession and obstructing an officer but managed to avoided jail time - in heels! The girl’s really not that smart.

If you’re a Guy Sebastian fan and live in Auckland, then this Sunday is your lucky day!
Guy will be appearing at JB HI FI Sylvia Park, Auckland on Sunday 28th November, at 3.00pm to perform songs from and sign copies of his new album ‘Twenty Ten’.
Over the last ten years, Guy has released five Top 5 albums in Australia and ‘Twenty Ten’ is a retrospective of his musical career to date. It features some of his greatest songs including the New Zealand #1 single ‘Angels Brought Me Here’ plus his recent single ‘Art of Love’.
Also included on ‘Twenty Ten’ are 2 new tracks including the new single ‘Who’s That Girl’. The song was produced by Dre and features Eve as a special guest vocalist!
‘Twenty Ten’ is available in stores from Sunday 28th November.

The flight attendant that quit his job by ranting to a plane full of people over the public address system before deploying the evacuation slide at the terminal gate and sliding down it with a beer in hand? Rhythm & Vines announce bonus line-up!
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, there’s even more reason to get down to Gisborne for New Year’s!
Rhythm & Vines have announced a bonus release to its 2010 lineup, with the additions of Flying Lotus (Live), The Gaslamp Killer and Hudson Mohawk, local sensations The Naked and Famous and legendary 70s rockers Dragon.
Experimental multi-genre producer Flying Lotus has the music intelligentsia swooning all the way to hometown California and back.
Joining Flying Lotus on 30 December is LA-based DJ The Gaslamp Killer. The crowd can expect an explosive set with his electric style ranging from pyschedelia to world music, dubstep and left-field hip hop.
Scotland based producer/DJ Hudson Mohawk joins Flying Lotus and Gaslamp Killer on the tour and also plays on 30 December.
The Naked and Famous need no introduction as ‘the’ Kiwi band of 2010. They’ll be joined on New Year’s Eve by legends Dragon who’ll keep the crowd happy with Kiwi summer anthems ‘Are You Old Enough?’ and ‘April Sun in Cuba.’

Speidi are getting married - again!
Spencer Prett and Heidi Montag announced on an Australian radio show this morning that they are renewing their wedding vows - today! Listen to the interview below. Hmmm.. considering they were getting divorced a few months ago and considering moving to Mexico for $100,000 last week, we’re not sure how long this one’s going to last. Good luck to them though!
