I haven’t seen it, but the world fastest Indian was made here too!

I loved In my Fathers den. Kind of creepy, but I love the flow of the movie!

Lord of the rings does take forever to watch!

I don’t remember much of the Last Samari because I was thinking about Tom Cruise to much…lol

Lord of the Rings definitely did the most for the NZ film industry, and probably had the most attention around the world, though Avatar might top that now. Personally, I love Heavenly Creatures and In My Father’s Den - HC is just so creepily beautiful, if a little wrong, and it was Kate Winslet’s first big film.. And I just love Matthew Macfadyen, hence IMFD. I am really looking forward to the TinTin movie though.. Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Daniel Craig and Peter Jackson. I can’t wait!

Avatar was mostly filmed in Hawaii, only some screens were shot here.

LOTR is still probably the best movies that have been made here.
Can’t wait for The Hobbit to start filming!
