Well I’m 26 now and I first decided that I wanted to do a music degree when I was finishing school cause that’s what I was really good at! I got a degree in writing music and feel really pleased with myself, but there aren’t many jobs for musicians, so i decided to go into teaching. Kindergarten teaching I thought would be fun, but I didn’t enjoy it after all and so I decided to not go any further with my course. I didn’t really want to get a 9-5 boring job and really wanted a career type job that made alot of money for travelling and allowed me to use my skills and personality. So now I’m studying towards a degree in radiography. I didn’t do maths and science at school unfortunately so now am doing year 12/13 by correspondence. I’m applying for the radiography degree and have finally found something that I will love and something that will challenge me, with a great job at the the end of it. I wish I’d decided what I wanted to do sooner, so that’s why it’s really important to try to be all rounded at school and put some thought into what you might like to do at an earlier age. Good luck!
