okay soo, i like this guy and we used to be besties in year 7, 8 and the start of last year and we are now in year 10. he is super funny and now we have just started talking again and he came an sat with me in class the other day but he says im hot but he dusnt wanna go out just be close friends. but ppl say he like me!

this ones a tricky one but just ask him if he wants to go to a movie, dont make it seem as through its a date but dont say not as date. go to a romantic movie and at the end of the movie see how things are. guys can be confusing. for the longest time i was in love with a guy who dated a menage of my friends and he liked me. everyone said he didnt cause he didnt tell them. in school he’d sit by me and we’d pass notes and he’d tell me i was beautiful but the reason he never asked me out was because his friend didnt want him to. but finally at the beginning of last year he finally asked me out and then he told me he’d loved me since grade 6 but he then broke up with me because his friend stopped hanging around me so i said screw it and got over him so basically if its not meant to be it just isnt

Agreed! And the best relationships always start with a solid friendship first

But has he said he likes you? I mean he said you’re hot, but if you have only heard other people saying that he has feelings for you then I wouldn’t get your hopes up too much. Just stay friends with him, see what happens
