The Vaccination doesn’t stop you from getting Cervical cancer it only helps you in it getting worse

My mum & I have talked & researched about it & Im not getting it. We found a few cases that people have gotten the disease from the vaccine & others that have fainted etc. We also heard of someone that died though we couldnt find anything about it so I would say it is untrue. As long as you use protection & get checked as reccomended, in the unlikely case you do get it, it will be detected early & cured. Think about your decision carefully though. xx

There’s been heaps of rumours flying around about this one. If you want some facts, there’s an article on 24/7 Girl here:

I got it, no side effects, didnt hurt.  I think there is anecdotal evidence of adverse side effects,  If you want proper information i would read proper medical reports from real research not whats just posted on the net

I had mine last year, but for one of the vaccinations, I wasn’t even 12. It gave me a sore arm for 10 minutes but that was it. The last one hurt more, but overall it’s not too bad =]

I got all 3 last year and its totally safe. Why would they give you vaccinations that could kill you? Cause this one doesn’t. Trust me! My mum said YES definetly because she wants to protect me from stuff like cancer. No one likes needles, but they could save your life!

I agree with this poster.

I am not getting it because of pretty much the same reasons.

Someone has died from it. In the USA.
I read it on the news.

I got it when I was twelve and it wasn’t that bad, I have a huge fear of needles but I still got it. If you’ve had the meningacocil or waterver one then you should know how it feels!

you can wait and have it done in a few years if you want, no harm in that, check out the website and make your own decision, my daughter decided not to for now, she wants to wait and see the effects over the next few years.
I thought the vaccine only lasted for 5 years, but you check it out.
good luck and keep us posted on what you decide….
