ok, so i always have about a week with a really sucessfull diet and exercise then i get heaps of cravings for baking, cookie and stuff i can make from the pantry. I am a healthy weight and quite fit but i eat SUPER healthy, so if i eat what i crave i will get fat again ( i have lost almost 20kg this year). sometimes chewing gum really helps my cravings, but as soon as i run out i need some more ideas to not eat what i crave, any help will be really apreciated, thanks x

grin  CONGRATULATIONS grin  Well done on such a great achievement.
Having a cheat day or couple of cheat meals a week can help feed the cravings without giving in to them completely.  It’s hard ay, I love baking and can make some things you’d crawl over broken on fire glass for but I can’t make them often as I always eat more than I should tongue laugh .  Stay well prepared and you should be able to stick to your guns.  Having set snacks like fruit and nuts helps as does planning meals for the next week.  I never found gum a help as I just got addicted to having gum all the time LOL  You need to ask yourself too if the craving is out of hunger or just a craving, you don’t want to go without food if you actually are hungry.  Idk if this will be helpful but by golly you’ve done so well already, I wish you the best for the future.  I started a post not long ago about workout buddies but got no replies at all, maybe you could visit that and comment with your weight loss experience and help me to inspire others for a happy healthy future.  grin

Apparently most of the time when your craving sweets its your body telling you to drink (i know sounds so weird) So next time have 2 glasses of water and wait if your still craving/hungry then you can eat. It actually works for me

Congrats on having lost so much! Try not to chew gum too often… it’s bad for you after a while (creates more acid in your stomach & slowly destroys your stomach lining etc.) Try snacking on healthy fruits & veges if you’re craving something or drink water everytime you crave food?

when you get a craving for an unhealthy food, go to your fridge and find something healthy that you enjoy eating and you’ll forget about the craving

There’s nothing wrong when your are craving for a healthy food because it can make you healthy; it is quite bad if you’re craving for junk foods. Being busy sometimes can help you forget to crave for what you want to eat; but if you really can’t stop craving for it, I suggest that you do some exercise so that you can maintain a healthy body.
