The cafe I work in has changed hands and my new boss has no idea what hes doing.
We have all tried to help him but he doesnt seem to take anything in gor more than a minute
He is a really cool guy and I know he gets embarrassed when he stuffs up.
Any suggestions on how to help him without making him feel silly

just sit him down and let him know youre all here to help and not trying to take over his business or anything. Remind him that you need him to be successful so you keep your jobs.

Defintely have a staff meeting with your boss, focus on the positive rather than the negative. No fun being ambushed either. When you all get together, brainstorm and maybe come up with some new idea’s on how the cafe could be run, roster’s, who is to be team leader and that spokesperson can liaison with the boss about any problems. Communication is the key, good luck.
