They say 1.5-2 litres.
But I’ve also heard that is all a load of bollocks. You don’t need to drink that much water.
I say try drink around 1.5 litres. Being dehydrated can lower your energy levels by 20%

I stick to the ‘8 glasses a day’ rule, and I swear by it!

Drinking enough water is an essential part of keeping you body healthy. Everyday activities, like breathing, sweating or going to the toilet take water out of your body, so you have to replace that water.

Everyone’s water needs are different, but the 8 glasses a day rule is a pretty good guide.

I find the best way for me to keep on top of my water intake is to always keep a sipper bottle with me at all times, so i’ve got no excuses!

Tx

Apart from staying hydrated and feeling healthy, I always notice my skin and eyes are heaps clearer when I’m drinking my 8 a day. It flushes out al those toxins I guess!

Good point! If you’re using something like a pump or h2go bottle (the 750ml kind) I say set your goal at at least 2 a day and you’ll be in good shape!

1 cup in cooking is 250 ml so an average sipper bottle is 3 cups.  I have at least 6 in my fridge and use them throughout the day, as I empty one I fill it and put it at the end of the row.  I find it so much easier to go through one of these than a big jug or bottle.

Just remember even though they say the bottled water is healthy is might have flavours etc that are not good for you.  Also buying a new bottle is a waste of money and the enviroment.

I drink three litres of water or as the nutritionist says “water substitute” a day. Water substitute is caffiene free and sugar free drink. So tea, coffee, V (even sugar free) and full bag soft drinks don’t count (neither does alcohol)!
It actually aids in weight loss smile Sometimes when people are thirsty they mistake it for hunger

I keep a normal sized pump bottle with me at all times and I drink about 5 or 6 bottles full of water a day.

i think it would depend on the weather as we need more water on really hot days when we perspire more than on cooler days, but on average 3litres per day is a general guide
