We all have them,some are worse then others,how old are you now? how old were you when you 1st got it? Where did you get it? Who did you tell? Lets share our stories from when we first got our periods…(:

Im 15, i was 12 at the time and i got it at school i went to the bathroom and went toilet when i noticed i kinda was shocked i wasn’t expecting it luckily i was prepared and had pads in my bag you should always carry them around if you dont have it yet just incase!

I got mine in the school holidays THANK GOD…i was year 9 ( so 15ish)  im 26 now. i remember being scared.  my mum was there to help and she only had tampons so the first time i got my period was also the first time i used a tampon.  i was too scared to push it all the way up and walked around with it hardly in (needless to say it was sore)

i got mine at 12years, im 29 now, i had really bad pains on the school bus and didnt feel to well either. When i finally got home i discovered why. I told my mum, lucky she was prepared and had already brought pads for me. The worst part was its was the middle of summer so i couldnt swim, all the boys at school new cos i wasnt swimming.

I first got my period when i was 12 so i haven’t had it very long.. but, i was lucky enough to get it at my friends place when we were home alone and i was prepared i also had pretty horrible cramps too.. but, you get used to them after awhile..
if you haven’t already got your period then i sugguest you are always prepared =)

IM 13 and It was a year ago when I was 12. I started when I was asleep so I was covered in blood as was my under wear pants and sheets. I first texted my friends then went and told my mom. I am so lucky It was on a weekend!

I got mine when I was 10yo. I was at home it was evening and my g’ma was babysitting. My mum had already told me and my sis what to expect and I was really close to my g’ma. I told her I had my period and that was that. I put on a pad and went to bed.

I was lucky my mum was very open with my and my sis about all that kinda stuff.

I got it late for my age, I got it about a year ago and im 15 now. All my friends had it and they made it sound awful! Then one day I was at camp during dinner and my i got real bad pains. I stood up and my mate gave me her jumper. Turned out it had gotten all over the seat! I was so embarassed but I have great friends, she grabbed a sponge cleaned it up and took me to the bathroom. She loaned me a pad. No one saw, which was good. But it was still humiliating! Ive gotten used to telling when im getting it now so no more suprises. I got mine when I was… 11 or 12… it’s been 5 or 6 years now, but I was at home alone, and I went to the bathroom and there was blood in my underwear… I didn’t know what to do, and when mum got home a few hours later she couldn’t stop apologizing XD but it lasted 3 weeks and was really heavy. it sucked

i got mine when i was 11 i was at home i went to the toilet and got it then went and sat next to my sis and just laughd and she askd me what was so funny and i told her and she to0k me 2 her room and gave me a pad and told me what to do im now 17 alm 18 and i still get realy realy bad cramp

bananas? and I have the same problem, I talked to the doctor about it and she gave me some pills (which I stopped taking ‘cause they did nothing) but she told me that the only real way to cure period pains was to get pregnant, but she doesn’t advise it XD

I was 12 when I got mine, and I’m 19 now.
I was staying in Queenstown, and I woke up one morning, and found some blood. Wasn’t very nice.

Luckily I found a pad in the bathroom, and I just took that.
I didn’t tell anyone for about a week.. Just because I was embarrassed.

i got mine wen i was very young(8-9)luck i just got it wen i was nine and my mum was the first person i told and it was really heavy and i didn’t go to school for like a week because i thought it was weird to have it at a young age…

I was 12 almost 13 and im now 13 almost 14, and i was in town with my mates shopping and had to go to the loo, so embarrising, my mates were so supportive though. <3
