I got mine when I was eleven, I was at home and I went to the loo. I yelled to mum, she passed it to me under the door and that was that. The next day my Dad bought me flowers (nothing was said though haha!)

MY FIRST PERIOD WAS WHEN I WAS 14 AND MY MUM HAD MET THIS NEW GUY, ME AND MY BROTHER HAD TO STAY THERE WITH HER.
I WOKE UP IN THE MORNING FEELING DIFFERENT SO I WENT TO THE BATHROOM AND SURE ENOUGH I FOUND SOMETHING I DIDNT WANT TO SEE.
I RAN INTO THE ROOM MUM WAS IN AND TOLD HER WHAT HAD HAPPENED, SHE RUSHED ME HOME AND GOT OUT THE EMERGENCY STOCK SHE HAD SAVED FOR ME.

I was twelve. I was at a restaurant* with my DAD! I was really shocked and started crying, I txted my Mom and she came and picked me up then took me to the supermarket!

I got mine when I was 13. Luckily it was at home and in the holidays. I found a bit of blood going in to the drain along with all the water and soap. I did’nt tell anyone for a day because I was so shocked. But then I told my mum.

I was 13 and had been feeling sick all day so was spending the day at my mums shop. I went to the bathroom and yeah.. i freaked out i was so shocked i actually cried lol and my mum thought there was something seriously wrong till i told her. I could tell she was trying not to laugh, I also found out later that someone in the shop had asked once id gone if i was ok and mum told everyone in the shop that it was ok i just got my first period.

I’m 17 and got mine when I was 12. I was at school when I first got it. I just went to the toilet and saw it in my underwear I honestly was pretty shocked. I really wasn’t expecting it and had nothing on me! Lucky it wasn’t heavy and the end of the day. I went home and told my mum about it and she gave me some pads

I’m 14 now and i got it a few months ago when i was 13. i had told my friends that i already had it because most of them had.

i’m in year 9, which is the first year of high school, and it was the day of my first exams. i was feeling sick with nerves because i like to do well. in the middle of the english exam the rover came around so i was allowed to go to the bathroom… and i discovered that i had my period!

i usually carry pads in my bag but i used a different bag that day so i had to use TP. the one day i didn’t have pads WOULD be the day i got my period lol

i told my mum that evening and it was all gud. i’m quite skinny so they only last for about 4 days and i never get cramps

No drama for me, just woke up and found I had a new companion for the next 50 years.
Welcome to Periodville, population, me too.  My Mum took me out for a meal at a nice restaurant the next night - much to my bros annoyance. 

I got mine when I was 13, woke up and had blood in my undies, lucky my mum was there but she only had a really old pad because my mum had a hysterectomy and doesn’t get a period. So I had the pads dubbed ‘surf boards’ lol. It was a school day and we were going to see some crappy movie about dolphins or something so I had to sit in a hot movie theater the whole time worrying I was leaking. It was so uncomfortable. I was SO embarrassed I didn’t really tell anybody until I was old enough people just knew lol

i was 8 when i got mine and i’m now 15 but when i got mine i was different to everyone else mine was worse than heavy flow (because of the medication i’m on) if i use a super tampon it goes through that like i’m wearing a light one that’s how bad mine is and period crams are really bad with me i got mine at school just before swimming time at school i was only 8 so she was going to make me swim because she thought i was lieing about having it but i really was’nt it was sooo bad grrr :-(

It was my first year of highschool!! so i was 13 or 14. I got it at school aswell, i didnt have anything with me. i freaked out and didnt tell my mum untill the next day and she cired lol im 21 now and still hate getting it!!!
