hey guys,
i need your help. i just found out my 14 year old sister is pregnant !?
she came to me for advice and all i could do was look at her in shock and disbelief.
she told me she wants to keep it but has made me promise not to tell mum.
im totally shocked and dont no what to do or say !
any advice ??

Your sister probably really needs your help right now and the best thing is to do just that. Offer her advice and maybe take her to the docter to get a checkup. She needs your support more then anything. And I would do what she wants, dont tell your mum. Your sister has to tell her herself. Good luck!

Yes, I deffinately agree with this poster. My older sis told me when she was 15 and preggers and i was only 12. Similar thing just age diff. Good Luck with you family too.

This may feel like the end of the world, but its not.

How old is the boyfirend, is there a boyfriend.

make sure you are with her when you confirm the preg test, and or go to the doc with her. 

Once you have done either or these, you gotta tell your mum. Mums knows best.

Its going to hit the fan HARD at first, but you dont know what is going through your mums head, she may say yes after a while and help her go through this or she will help her do what she has to do>

Your sis is sooo young, how is she going to feed this bubba or even buy nappies. oh gosh girl im thinking of you both.

Make sure she is preg first before you go telling anyone, and i would keep the father of the baby away from the house for a while cause i know mumma is gonna wanna kick his butt.  HARD.

You cant keep this a secret too long or you will loose your mind and loose all trust in your mum. Your sister has prob lost trust all ready, just be there for her and your sis cant hide it either its going to show sooner or later, but make sure you tell your mum straing away, dont wait.

this is not a little white lie about spilling raspberry on the carpet or breaking an ornament.

This is the BIG one, there will be tears but it will all be cool in the end, it always does.

going too the docters tomorrow without mum knowing (while she is at work)
she deffinately is pregnant as she would never make something like this up.
mum was talking to my 2 sisters and i over dinner she was going on about her friends daughter (around my sisters age) being pregnant and how she couldnt handle it if any of us got preg. i just looked at my sister. after dinner she was in her bedroom in tears.
i know mum is not going to like the news and will be so shocked as my sister has allways been such a good girl.
im just so worryed :(

Well if your mum was talking about it over dinner, she has thought about it, of course she is not going to say she would be happy about her daughters getting pregnant. but now the seed is in her head, she would have thought about the pro’s and cons regarding this matter, and hey there are things worse than getting preg,

Your sister might need your help, so ask her if she wants you to stay. And I still think you should let your sister tell your mum. If you tell her it would make it worse for all of you. Again, good luck and keep me updated.

hmmm so today.. went to the docs while mum was at work then went to a cafe.. i told my sis that she needs to tell mum but that i wont preasure her into doing it if she isint ready.
