Stay strong Cantabrians. Our thoughts and love are with you, especially 24/7 Girls down there. If you could wave a magic wand, what would be the greatest help or comfort right now?

The best thing would be for the aftershocks to stop! They are so awful, puts me on edge every time…

Thanks smile Apparently they will go on for weeks, but they should get smaller and less frequent.

It all could have been so much worse though, so I still feel pretty lucky, even though it is still horrible!

Hey all the people behind 24/7 Girl.  Thank you so much for this forum and the Care Packages.  It’s a lovely and positive thing and means a lot to me here in Canty.

You guys rock (and we do too, but hopefully it will stop soon!)

Things are getting a little quieter here. The aftershocks are still pretty strong and jolty sometimes but they’re further apart. We went into the central city today for a wander and a coffee and it was kind of surreal, but heartening too to see the work being done and the little pockets of normality springing up - people enjoying coffee in the sun in the square, or playing chess at the big chess board, even just seeing the buses again was great!

A good night’s sleep is still kind of elusive but there’s hope it won’t be too far away.

Thanks for the kind messages smile
