if your trying to get thin puking is not a good idea.  if your trying to get thin then i recommend a healthy diet and plenty of exercise. are you trying to puke purposely or are you sick?
good luck sweeti

everytime you feel like you want to, go do something and be social so you dont have the opportunity.  Also dont binge so you dont have the need to purge.  Do something positive after eating to put yourself in a good state of mind until your stomach empties and you cant throw up anymore even if you tried.

Also purging (combined vomiting and laxatives) only accounts for 40% of what went in, its the least effective way of doing things.  It also leads to finding it harder to be full and more bingeing as your body becomes malnourished from vomiting.
Let alone the manky breath and damage to your teeth, throat and heart.

Ive been in the same boat, but what ive found is that it is not only unhealthy it is also only a tempory solution. Yes i lost a bit of weight, but you cant keep puking forever. What you need is to change your lifestyle and eating habits. With making the right choices and at least 30min of exercise a day, you’ll notice a big difference the healthy way!

Seek professional help. Trust me - you need it! Do you have a GP that you can talk to, maybe they can refer you to get some help?? Not something you should go through on your own, and I know there are people out there that care and would love to help you through this…..
There must be a few problems behind the scenes contributing to this….so talking to a professional about it will help!

I agree with the person above! You have bulimia, which is an eating disorder and a mental issue… It is very dangerous! I know how you feel, the pressure to be thin is on us everyday and sometimes it seems like everything would be better if we were all ultra skinny. But it is not a healthy vision and it can lead to serious consequences - be happy and love your body how it is! Or make your motto - ‘HEALTHY’ not ‘skinny’. We all want to help you but we’re only teenage girls - you need someone who is professional and helps girls like you everyday smile Hope you get better, we’re all behind you on this! xxxx

Puking just to get thin is a terrible idea. You just have to eat healthily and exercise regularly. I recommend you talk about this to your doctor or a specialist as they can help you. :D

Ooh really try to do something about it. On this programme i watched this girl who used to make herself spew all the time coz of weight had problems a few years later, every time she ate it came back up again. It weakened this opening near her stomach i think.
not to scare you or anything! But perhaps talking to doctors or others who could help

Oh no, that must be hard. I had this problem a few years back when I got into a crash diet. It became really bad, and I got worried it was a precursor to bulimia, or worse, anorexia.  Sometimes, just the sight of food made me throw up. The best way to recover is to practice self control, even little by little.  I practiced portion control and if I had the urge to eat or binge, I focused my energy on productive stuff, reading, orjust catching up with friends - just making sure im busy…

Good luck and hope things get better!

It’s not healthy (it ruins your teeth, heart and can ultimately kill you), and it also limits your weight loss. Your body goes into “emergency” mode and ends up trying to store all the fat it can.

The most important thing is to be healthy. Exercise regularly; go for a run, a swim, a bike ride. It not only increases your metabolism and hence helps you lose weight, but it also means that your losing the weight that you want to lose (if you lose weight by throwing up, your body will burn off muscle, not fat). In addition, exercise makes you feel great afterwards!

Eating is another factor. Make sure to eat regularly; if you starve yourself, you’re more likely to over-indulge and make yourself vomit after. Also, to lose weight healthily, eat vegetables if you feel hungry. They full you up, but have few calories and are incredibly nutritious.

The key is staying HEALTHY. If you can’t stop yourself from throwing up, go to your doctor. They should be able to help you - and keep you safe, which is the most important thing.
