I waited until i was 16 with my boyfriend. who was 17. I dont really know, when i think of being 15 and doing it now it seems really young. I dunno, dont rush sex its something special.

It’s a very scary topic at times but just realise that you shouldn’t base what you do on the opinion of others. Just make sure you are 100% on any decisions you make. I personally think you should wait and just have fun untill that time when you’re inlove and ready to start a family or ready to depend on that specail decision, just make sure ready when the time comes.

Personally if you’re asking the question then the answer is a definate NO.
You know yourself better than anyone. If at 15 you decide YES i want to WITHOUT influence from anybody including friends, boys, BOYS!! etc…. Then by all means….

Go see a guidance counsellor!! That’s if, you can’t talk to an older sibling or mum about it. The older the wiser guys, the older the wiser.

I think it’s too young. Whats the rush? I’m 18 and I’m still a virgin and I’m extremely proud of it. Almost everyone I know who lot it at a young age wishes they had waited, even though at the time the were convinced they were ‘in love’ with the person.

thirteen years old? i really strongly disagree. my baby sister’s thirteen. (well, she’s not a baby)
and i cannot imagine or comprehend her having sex.
i would be absolutely disgusted to be honest.
sex is a personal matter. you shouldn’t do it to be ‘cool’ or if you’re being pressured.
if a guy is that special, he’ll wait for you babe.
if you truly think you’re ready then go for it, but if you have any doubts AT ALL, then wait.
personally i think 15 is too young, as i am 15 myself and i think i’m too young.
firstly, because it’s illegal and if your sexual partner is older then he could be charged with having sex with a minor.
i really don’t think at 15 years old that you are physically, mentally, emotionally and financially ready to have sex.
you may ask, why financially? because if you do have sex you could end up pregnant. because no type of protection is 100% effective.
and could you really support a baby?
if you wish you could have an abortion, but that is quite a horrible decision, killing an innocent baby.
having a baby is a big responsibility, fitting in caring for him/her with school and other activities.
wait until you’re older, that’s what i recommend.
16 is the legal age, and thats still quite young too.
personally, i’d wait till i was 17 or even 18.
don’t rush it, there’s so many things that could go wrong, eg STIs, pregnancy.
if you truly are ready then fine, it’s your decision, but do not rush it, and USE PROTECTION.
you’ll want it to be a special memory, not a regret.

well i gotta say, if you are willing to face the consequences (whatever they may be) and if YOU are ready then guess you can. if you are getting pressured or feeling left out cos people are saying that they do it - chances are if you do have sex, you might actually be the only person and those others might’ve lied.

These days! kids you age would have done it by now! epeshially being together for a year so good on you for that!. Why not wait another month untill your 16 and make it really special. And please!! be protected! the amount of girls getting pregnant at your age is insane!

In my oppinion, its whatevere age you feel comfortable with. Make sure your ready for this kind of relationship. Nowadays people are having sex at 13 for godsake so really, 15 is not that bad.

16 is the legal age, but see how you feel.

Yes, it is illegal to have sex before you are sixteen.  If you have started already, it isn’t likely that you’ll stop, so best get on the pill as soon as possible - condoms are not enough on their own.  If you plan to have sex soon, go on the pill immediately!

Legally for girls, it’s 16 to have sex in NZ. I know some people who did it earlier.. and regretted it, but i suppose it depends on the person. I’d advise against doing it so early since you won’t be thinking straight but up to you. I can’t stop you from doing anything, but yes 15 is just a bit too young.

Your too young!  Your boyfriend will go to prison if you are caught, legally it’s not worth it, why not wait.
