Stringsof.me - it’s like Facebook, but not!
Ok so I’ve discovered an awesome new site I think 247girls will love! It’s called Stringsof.me, and it’s a kind of online journal that you can either keep private or share with other users. Every day a new question is posted for users to respond to - and the same question pops up again a year later, so you’re able to track how you felt about topics year to year!
The basic idea is to a) give users an opportunity to ponder things they might otherwise not, and to share their perspectives on the world and b) to start discussions between users about those topics. Questions range from the serious, like ‘The most important component in a fair and just society is…’ to the fun, like ‘If everybody chose a single animal as their all-time mode of transport, mine would be…’
If you prefer to keep your thoughts private, you’re able to do so but it’s quite entertaining seeing what everyone else thinks - kind of like a daily Facebook post you comment on in the company of a wide mix of people! It’s a really cool way of exposing yourself to a range of perspectives, while also considering what you personally think about stuff.
