Boss driving you crazy?
Chances are, at some point in your life you’re going to have a boss, or co-worker, who drives you crazy.
Do you stick it out? Get out of there? It isn’t always easy to know what to do - but I can tell you this: if you don’t find a solution you’re going to lose. Your. Mind.
Do
*Work out why your boss drives you crazy. Without knowing the cause of your frustration it’ll be difficult to find a solution.
*Say something about it, just make sure you do it the right way. Make a time to talk to your boss one on one (not in front of other staff). If they aren’t open to discuss your concerns, talk to your company’s HR department or another person in management.
*Try different ways of dealing with your boss.
*Be open to the fact your hatred of the job itself could be the true cause of your angst, not your boss!
Tip: If you work in a large company, ask if you can report to someone else.
Don’t
*Talk badly about your boss at work or with clients. You never know who’s listening, or who might repeat your conversation to your boss.
*Complain about your boss or company on Facebook or other networking sites. It could come back to bite you in the butt later on!
*Get nasty. Even if your boss treats you badly, it’s important not to do the same. Losing it will only hurt you in the long run.
*Let your frustrations with your boss affect the quality of your work. Your reputation doesn’t need to suffer because they’re hard to work for!
If you try everything to improve your relationship with your boss and things don’t change, it might be time to look for another job. You spend a lot of time at work after all - and life’s too short to waste it dealing with a horrible boss!

Best of the rest

How i dealt with it: Talked to them privately and let them know how uncomfortable they were making me feel. (which didn’t work out by the way)
I then decided to speak to another manager who was at their same level and they were realy great and advocated on my behalf. Til this day I have not been bothered by my ex boss again even though we still work together. There is however the awkward moments when we pass each other in the corridors etc but bottom line is…
Keep it professional
