New York… I Love You!
After almost a month of having friends in town and getting to do lots of fun stuff around New York with them… everyone’s gone! Ah well, guess it’s time to get back into work mode, and to prepare for my next adventure - a West Coast tour with my buddy Steph Brown (a.k.a. Lips). I posted the video for her track ‘One, Not Two’ on my blog a while ago, but she just released a new song via Bandcamp called ‘Everything To Me’ which you should totally listen to here! I’m really excited about her hitting the road so heaps of other people can hear how great her stuff is too! We’re planning to visit a bunch of places between LA and Portland and Seattle, so if you have friends in those places or anywhere along the way, tell them to look out for Lips and come to a show.
That trip’s still a month away though, so for now I’m reminiscing about my last weekend hanging out with buddies in New York: finally made it to the American Museum of Natural History to check out the dinosaurs, walked the Highline on Manhattan’s West Side and ate lots of great food in my favourite spots around the Lower East Side and Williamsburg. New York… I love you!
