I have invested in MAC Studio Fix Foundation, which I absolutely love. However, it is quite expensive and as a poor student I can’t afford to buy this for everyday use. I was wondering if there are any cheaper options that offer the same great coverage and wear as MAC for regular use?
With the memories of my Uni days still fresh in my mind, I know exactly what you mean about being a poor student! Foundation is a really important makeup product though, and it’s important to understand that investing in a good one will pay you back in the long run. There is no point buying a $2 foundation if it’s going to look cakey and horrible all day!
Having said that, there’s definitely products out their that balance quality and price. I would be looking at middle range brands like Maybelline, CoverGirl and L’Oreal, which are usually sold in department stores and pharmacies. Their foundations are all around the $20 - $40 range and you can totally find a foundation from these brands that will look great IF you know your skin type and take your time matching the foundation shade to your skin tone. When testing a color, swipe a small stripe on your jaw line, if it disappears, it’s your shade. It’s always a good idea to take a look at the foundation on your skin in natural light, so take a little mirror along with you and step outside before you hand over your money.

it sucks how they charge heap and are the best(in my opinion) i reckon, use it only when you have to, so if your not going out dont put it on. can save alot of money that way.=) Posted by Xxc0rtxX "on" 08/10 "at"05:18 PM |
