Foundation for Asian skin tones
What shades of foundation are suitable for Asian skin tones? I can never find the right shade. It’s either too dark in the daytime, or too pale at night. Popular brands in NZ would be best. Vicky W

Yellow-based foundations are the way to go, and lots of companies in New Zealand do great yellow-based foundations.
To find a shade that wont make you look too dark or pale, test the color in a strip on the side of your face. If it disappears it’s the right foundation for you. Have you tried MAC Studio Fix? It’s been rated amazing for Asian skin tones.
Tip: Always test foundation in natural light. Take a compact mirror along to the store and pop outside before making any decisions.

i’ve heard Bobbi Brown specialises in tailoring palettes to suit customers - you can even buy them empty and have your hand-picked colours inserted. But brands like L’Oreal and Cover Girl are good too. Apparently its better if you opt for yellow based foundations. Posted by POWERBALLIN25 "on" 08/11 "at"09:22 PM |
