Perfect liquid liner
A. What’s the best way to apply liquid eyeliner? And how do you create flicks at the end? The one I use fades quickly so I want one that will stay for longer, can you recommend some?
A. Liquid eyeliner is such a classic look! To get a straight line try gently lifting your eyelid at the brown bone so it stretches the skin and creates a smooth surface at the lashline. Start in the inner corner and apply the liner as close to the lashline as possible. When your liner gets to the outer corner just follow the line and it should create a natural and defined flick. I recommend using a liner in a marker like applicator - they’re a lot easier to work with and more accurate. Try Revlon’s Colourstay Liquid Liner or Smashbox Liquid Liner Pen. My final piece of advice… practice! And then practice some more till you get it right!

Liquid eyeliner is so hard to master, I find it easier to use an angled eye liner brush and dip it in the eyeliner liquid, with the angled brush you dont have to worry about your eye lashes getting in the way, makes it heaps easier if you are learning Posted by helly "on" 05/13 "at"04:20 PM |

I absolutely ADORE liquid eyeliner. I could never do it until I got a fine tip liquid eyeliner. I also find that rather than using the pens, its easier if you get the one that unscrews from the pottle. Then I start halfway across my lid and go outwards, then do from the inner part of my eye and join it to the middle. That way its easier to get the flick without trying to do the whole eye at once. I love liquid eyeliner, During the 80’s I was of the goth punk era in the UK, and i couldn’t afford lots of liquid eyeliners, so I resorted to a kohl pencil, I heated it up with the hairdryer and applied with my brush…. affordable and stayed on beautifully.
