NYC Blog: My favourite foodie spots!
Down to my last couple of weeks in NY, and it’s been so great to wander around all my favourite neighbourhoods, doing the things I know I’ll miss when I come home. Turns out most of these things involve eating! Ha - this weekend I’ve feasted pretty well I’ll admit, at all my favourite spots. Delicious frittata at Marlow & Sons, a blue cheese and caramelised onion galette at Bakeri and cereal milk soft serve from Milk Bar, topped with cornflake crunch (sounds weird - tastes great!). Also checked out Cubana Social for Huevos Cubanos and High Horse Salon for a cheeky Old Fashioned. I’ll admit I do now have a very full belly, but it’s been worth the ache!
I’m listing all these spots because you’ve gotta check ‘em out if you visit New York. Forget the Empire State Building and Wall Street Bull baby, in my book New York’s about putzing around, soaking up the atmosphere, drinking good coffee and getting your foodie on!

I love galettes, I have a super simple recipe, they’re sooo good. Blue cheese and caramelised onions sounds yummy. Posted by Bobannie "on" 11/15 "at"12:01 PM |
