NYC Blog: Metropolitan Museum of Art
My mum arrived last night to visit for a week, and did remarkably well on her first day in New York! I traipsed her from Fort Greene, a cute neighbourhood in Brooklyn where we’re staying, up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, which we got lost in one tiny part of for about four hours with my friend Sam. That place is insane!
Top it all of with great wine and delicious food at Peasant, the sister restaurant of my Lower East Side home Bacaro, and I’m tucking into bed feeling pretty content. The staff at Peasant were awesome and even treated us to a few extra dishes, including an array of amazing desserts! Got my work cut out for me showing my mum a good time with that sort of standard to follow! Mind you, it’s not the kind of challenge I mind…
