Loved these products, from the packaging to what they did to my skin! Made my skin look so much better than at the start of the week. I loved the scrub especially. Both products felt really nice on my skin and it did not feel dry after use. Would definitely reccommend these two products to anyone and they made me want to buy more Neutrogena!! After using Neutrogena Power-Clear Srub and Acne stress control wash my skin is looking a lot healthier and is less irritating. I am using it morning and night and loving it, when I wake up in the morning it leaves my skin feeling fresh and energized and ready to go and in the evenings it is great, leaving my skin fresh and clean. PS it smells amazing. Posted by 247Girl "on" 07/26 "at"08:00 AM |

Before the Neutrogena products arrived I had been using a moisturising facewash because my cheeks tend to dry out and be really sensitive. So I was a bit apprehensive that it would cause my cheeks to dry out. I am pleased that this wasn’t the case at all. When I first used the Neutrogena® Oil-Free Acne Stress Control I was amazed with how soft & fresh my skin felt afterwards. It is one of the most refeshing face washes I have used and it didn’t irritate my skin. I used it twice daily so my face felt fresh and clean after I got up and before I went to bed. I don’t like to use scrubs more than twice a week so I only used the Neutrogena® Power-Clear Scrub twice. Again, I was impressed with how soft my skin felt, I find a lot of scrubs can be harsh and irritate my skin. I can’t say there was any notable improvement to my acne (which is only mild), I don’t think I’ve used it for long enough to judge. I can say that I will continue to use both products though; because my face feels soft, moisturised, and clean. I would recommend it especially to people with sensitive or combination skin, because its gentle and didn’t cause my skin to dry out. Posted by nards "on" 07/22 "at"05:54 PM |

A skin cycle is 28 days, and so there wasn’t really enough time to see if it would fully deliver the promised results. But, in the short time that I used the products they did make my skin feel refreshed and clean. The wash in particular has a nice smell and a great texture. After using the Neutrogena® Oil-Free Acne Stress Control™ for a week I noticed that the few spots I did have were reduced and not so visable which was great but there were no other dramatic results. I was most impressed with how soft it left my skin after each use, the smell was really nice with the cucumber and it did leave my skin feeling very fresh and clean! Good for helping wake you up in the morning! I would definately purchase this instead of my previous skincare. I am also a contact lense wearer and found this was fine to use carefully around my eyes, as I was worried the strong smell might irritate my eyes but it was fine. The Neutrogena® Power-Clear Scrub I found very similar as above apart from you can definatley feel it exfoliating your skin, I didnt see dramatic results after one use as it claims but thats not to say after using it a few more times I wont see better results. It left my skin feeling thoroughly clean even takes off any make-up on your face. Only problem with this product i found was that occassionally it would leave my skin feeling quite sensitive, maybe only use the scrub once or twice a week. Posted by 45140 "on" 07/21 "at"05:21 PM |

I have recently been using Sothys products which I have found worked really well on my skin but as these products are extremely costly I have been searching for a product which is less expensive yet will give me all of the same benefits. When the Neutrogena products arrived at my door I was stoked and used them almost immediately. I found the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Control power cream wash was slightly stimulating on my skin, but has a refreshing aroma with the mixture of green tea and cucumber extracts. I don’t normally use a scrub very often as I find them too harsh for my skin but I really enjoyed using the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Stress Power Clear Scrub as it is still quite creamy and not too sugary and rough, I found it worked really well in the nasal area and on the chin. I first thought that by using these products they would make my skin feel very tight and dry, but they didn’t, I found that they made my skin feel very soft and smooth. On first impressions I was quite impressed with the wash. It was a nice consistency and had a good clean smell of cucumber. It left my skin feeling clean and I was happy as it didn’t seem as harsh as other anti-acne washes I had used in the past. I noticed that my skin was a lot clearer and more even in texture and tone at the end of the trial. However halfway through the trial I noticed that my skin became quite red and tight after using the wash and it started to sting more than tingle when using the wash. On reading the back I noticed that both products contained alpha hydroxy acid, an ingredient found in chemical peels. I don’t think I would be happy using a product everyday that had such harsh ingredients, but I would buy the product and use it only when I have outbreaks, as it was so good at clearing my skin and improving the texture. Overall the wash was much better than other acne clearing products I have tried, though I would recommend it to people with more oily skin, as I have normal skin and found it a bit drying. The scrub I was less impressed with. I thought it was a good product but I think any other exfoliating wash would do the same thing. I found it quite a harsh product. That said, my boyfriend who has oily skin tried and loved it, so it may depend on skin type. I wouldn’t buy this product in future. Posted by flossy "on" 07/21 "at"12:28 PM |

I was a bit nervous about trying the products once I read the warning about the Alpha Hydroxy Acid increasing the skins sensitivity to the sun since I burn quite quickly, but because I wear sunblock everyday (which it recommends) I hoped I would be alright. The microbeads in the scrub weren’t rough on my skin and left my skin feeling really smooth, it also smelt really good! I have noticed that my pores are a bit clearer and my pimples have reduced in size, but I don’t know how well it prevented more pimples from forming (maybe I need to use it for longer?), and though my skin is lovely and soft it has become quite flaky where I’ve been using the scrub though I’ve been moisturising my face everyday so I will only use it every few days from now on. I really liked the Acne Stress Control Power Scrub and felt that it worked really well for me. It left my skin feeling very soft and refreshed after. I loved the smell of it as well! I use this product once every 2 nights. I didn’t want to use it that often as most dermatologist don’t recommend exfoliating too much. I used the Acne Stress Control Power Cream Wash twice in a day (in the morning and at night) and again, I think it worked wonderfully. The only little downside that this product had for me is that it doesn’t remove make-up very well. It’s a gentle, moisturising cleanser that left my skin soft and smooth. I didn’t have any new breakouts while using the Neutrogena products. Overall, I would recommend it to people who are prone to acne breakouts. I’ve used other medicated products on my skin before trying this product range out. I felt those products just stripped my skin of all it’s moisture leaving it dry and flaky but the Neutrogena Acne Stress Control range moistured and left my skin looking clear, soft, and beautiful. So I say, definitely do give it a try… Posted by 31415 "on" 07/21 "at"10:56 AM |

I usually use the napoleon perdis skin pack which I absolutely love. When I first tried the Neutrogena® Power-Clear Scrub I expected it to be harsh on my skin because usually scrubs make my skin red and sore and also I usually find scrubs too thick and hard to wash off therefore I avoid them. I was really impressed with the Neutrogena scrub as it was more creamy and didn’t hurt because it had enough beads but less than other scrubs I’ve tried. The scrub was also very easy to wash off and didn’t leave my skin feeling as though it had something on it still - the result was my skin felt not only clean but smooth and soft which I was really pleased with Overall I preferred the scrub but would not use it every day because it’s a scrub not a cleanser. I was really impressed with the neutrogena products & would recommend them for teens struggling with unclear skin especially! Posted by zoekatipa@gmail.com "on" 07/20 "at"11:30 PM |

Neutrogena claims that the scrub stops 78% of pimples from emerging, and of course I can’t prove or disprove this claim based on percentage, but I did notice a difference. Not a huge difference, but a difference nonetheless. Taking into account the fact that I was also under a lot more stress during the trial period than I was beforehand, I was quite surprised to find that I had no (or at least very minor) breakouts during those days. So I guess this “acne stress control” claim could be true, or at least in my case! I should also probably note that I took a break from using any sort of facial cleanser (or exfoliating scrub) for a full week before testing these products. This was so that I could note the difference between using these products, and using none at all. However, you may be wondering how Neutrogena’s Acne Stress Control range stacks up against similar products from different brands. This is a subjective issue though, and all I can really say is that while this particular range may not be the best, I have definitely seen noticeable results. I’m funny when it comes to face washes because my skin has red spots and acne scars, freckles and is just plain easy to break out. Usually when I change face wash I’ll break out for about a week until they start going away but when I used Neutrogena® Power-Clear Scrub, I never broke out and it never dried out my skin like others. Sometimes when I washed my face twice in one go it still didn’t dry out my skin. I liked how there was a tingling refreshing feeling around my nose but it didn’t really remove all of my blackheads. I loved the feel when I washed my face clean with water, my skin felt so smooth and refreshed and even as if my pores were smaller. The Neutrogena® Oil-Free Acne Stress Control I didn’t really use, it felt like it wasn’t cleaning my skin. It was more of a refreshing, renergizing mask for me. The scrub will be the only one I’ll recommend for people. But everyone is different. Posted by 4672 "on" 07/20 "at"05:57 PM |

I used the Neutrogena® Power-Clear Scrub once a day, and i liked that it wasn’t a harsh feeling scrub, but don’t know how much of a “scrub” you get from it. Posted by DaniTaylor "on" 07/19 "at"08:04 PM |

My sister is a beauty therapist so I usually use her expensive salon products on my skin. Hence I was very skeptical to try something from Neutrogena. However, I actually really liked it. It smells really nice, and has a nice creamy formula. After washing my face with it, my face feels fresh, almost like using mouthwash on your face! The few pimples that I did have were diminished significantly, and I think that it also reduced my blackheads (which is amazing). I’m not too sure about the scrub, I don’t feel like it did much exfoliating because there wasn’t enough beads (and I prefer a more sugary feel to my scrubs) so I don’t really get the reason for the two different products as the aims seem to be the same. However, I really do think that the creamy cleanser was great, even on my very sensitive skin, leaving it soft and clear. I am unsure of what it’s effectiveness will be on a long term scale though… Posted by sophz_blonde "on" 07/17 "at"11:03 AM |
Best of the rest

Neutrogena® Power-Clear Scrub. A clinical study showed that after day one, Neutrogena® Power-Clear Scrub stopped 78% of spots from surfacing*.With MICROCLEAR® technology, it unclogs even the most congested pores to help stop breakouts where they start. The skin-soothing cucumber and green tea extracts also help reduce irritation and keep skin stress-free.

This product is AWESOME!!!!
I never really believe what they say on the ads on tv about “miracle” beauty treatments, but this one truly is fantastic!
even after the first day my skin felt smoother and generally better! Both products felt really awesome to apply and instantly refreshing!
I would definitely recommend this product and will continue to use it myself.
