When I first saw this product up for review I initially thought “OMG this is so cute! If I don’t get the review I will definately go out and buy it anyway! When it first came in the mail I was so surprised at how pink this product was! And then when I smelt it I knew it was something special. That exact morning I used it. Afterwards my skin felt so smooth and lovely!!

After a few more days of testing out the scrub as well I came to the conclusion that this was my new cleanser and scrub.  It rinses off so well and my skin feels so smooth- like a babies bottom! All my acne has gone as well! All in all I think I will definitely be using this product for a long time!

This pink grapefruit foaming scrub and facial cleanser smells absolutely amazing! However I found that unfortunately I reacted to it. I think it may have been the pink grapefuit extracts/ essence as I have never reacted to cleansers before this.
I also found, for the couple of days I used it, after using these products my skin got really dry.

Both facial cleanser and scub smell amazing and eadible too, just like a freshly cut grapefruit!

The scrub is a very good exfoliator, but can be harsh if used roughly which then leaves you with very irritated skin. After using it softly my skin was soft and smooth.
The cleanser is very good too. I liked it a lot as I’m not much of a fan of scrubs. The classic pump makes the cleanser easier to dipense. This too also left me with soft and smooth skin.

Both products are easy to use, but I haven’t yet experienced the full power of the salicylic acid ( maybe because it’s that I don’t suffer from acne, only from the odd pimple or three). Both left my skin feeling clean and easy to wash off. Recommend this to anyone that is looking for a change in cleansers or anyone willing to try. I will continue to use this.

I found the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Facial Cleanser and Scrub worked well to help fight my breakouts. It cleared my skin up really well. I liked the smell of the products but it really dried my face out. My face needed moisturiser every time I used the products.

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Facial Cleanser and Foaming Scrub smell great, and really do leave your skin feeling smooth and clean. I found after around five days I got small dry patches in sensitive areas like the corner of my mouth and where my nose creases around my nostrils, which could just be my own skins reaction to something like the acid from the grapefruit extract as i have had a reaction similar around my mouth from fruit juice. It does say on the instructions to only use one product if any dryness occurs, so this is what I will do from now on.

My skin is pretty clear from using it just a few pimples which appeared, but have cleared quite quickly and my skin is free of small bumps. I enjoy using the cleanser and scrub every time as it removes my make up well and leaves my face feeling fresh.

I decided to use the facial cleanser in the morning, to help me wake up and the foaming scrub at night, to clean off all my makeup and dirt from the day. My first thought when I used this product was that it smells absolutely incredible! Instantly my skin felt completely clean and really soft. The next morning the few pimples I had on my forehead had already almost disappeared, so I was keen to see if the results would continue to be successful. However because I only get the occasional break out and my skin is usually quite dry, the product probably wasn’t best for me. Although I did see a decrease in the blackheads on my nose, the area around my mouth dried out really fast. This continued to get worse throughout the week that I used the product. The product has some harsh ingredients that work very well in decreasing and preventing acne. I recommend the product to anyone who has oily acne prone skin, as this product will work wonders in drying out the excess oil. However if you have dry skin, like myself, then I would stare clear of this product. It smells great and gives you instantly soft skin but in the long term it will dehydrate your skin.

I trialled this product for a week and overall I really liked it. My favourite thing about it is the smell, its very sweet but not too over powering and it lasts for ages after you wash your face. I liked the foaming scrub the best as it has the micro beads which gives you a cleaner feeling. I found the wash worked really well with my skin looking better after just a few days of using it. I did find that it dried my skin out a lot however, which was easily fixed by moisturizer, but was still a downside to using this product. Overall I liked the product and would definItely buy it.

First off, the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Facial Cleanser and Foaming Scrub smell great. I love pink grapefruit, so for me this is an excellent fragrance choice. The containers have a good design making the products a breeze to dispense.

The Facial Cleanser and Foaming Scrub are simple to apply, and foam up really well. Both products rinsed off easily, leaving my skin fresh and clean. I was very happy with how soft and smooth my skin felt after using these products, with no dryness or feeling of my skin having been stripped. My skin also appeared matte rather than shiny, which was great.

I really liked the cleansing action of the micro beads in the Foaming Scrub, but it occasionally left my skin feeling a slightly sensitive and a little red.

I only have occasional breakouts, so my face was almost completely clear of all acne before I started using the Facial Cleanser and Foaming Scrub. I would have expected my skin to have stayed reasonably clear for the remainder of the 7 day trial, however, halfway through, my skin started to break out with a little more intensity than usual.

The Neutrogena products didn’t seem clear up the acne any faster than I had normally experienced, but it was a little difficult to judge as the trial ended before the acne had been completely cleared. I did notice that it seemed to diminish more rapidly after I stopped using the products, but this may have been due to the fact that my skin had already been partially cleared.

I would consider trying Facial Cleanser and Foaming Scrub again for an extended period of time, and see if the results might be more satisfactory with consistent use.

I have particularly sensitive skin, and I use Neutrogena products daily as part of my skincare regime. Through personal experience, I have found they are a much gentler skincare brand than many other supermarket brands.

However, I found that the Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Facial Cleanser and Foaming Scrub dried out my skin and made it flaky. It was effective in preventing acne, but for my overly sensitive skin, it was a bit harsh.

After 4 days, I stopped using the scrub and continued using just the Foaming Cleanser, which tended not to dry out my skin as much as the scrub did. Both products smelt absolutely delectable however, which is something I always appreciate in skin care.

I have used the acne wash everyday and the scrub every 2nd day for the past 8 days.

PROS:
My skin feels really fresh and clean afterwards.
I like the smell, it helps wake me up in the morning when I’m half asleep but sometimes it can be a bit overpowering. My skin also looks clearer and feels smoother.
The scrub is also good at exfoliating all the dry flaky patches on my forehead and t-zone.

CONS:
My skin becomes a bit too dry if I forget to moisturize my face afterwards. I would definitely recommend this to people with oily or normal skin. It would also be fine for people with dry skin but they would definitely need to use a rich moisturizer with it.

Overall I really like both of these products and I will definitely continue to use them in the future. smile

I have combination/sensitive skin, and my skin is pretty good on the whole.
I love Neutrogena, and was previously using Neutrogena’s “Acne Stress control wash”.  When this new product came out, and I was selected to be on the review panel, I was super excited to trial this new face wash/scrub duo.

My first impressions where as follows:
Originally, I thought, ‘It smells like Raro’s navel Orange fruit mix!’ which, as a child I greatly enjoyed.  On rubbing the scrub into my face, however, I found the scrub to be way too gritty.  Think, tripping at the beach and landing face first in the sand.  Then, rub some of that sand into your skin for good measure.  Ouch.  When using the “Acne Stress control wash”, I experienced a pleasant tingling when rubbing it into my face.  Apart from the actual pain of scrubbing, I felt no indication that this product was working.  Once I washed off the “Grapefruit Scrub”, and glanced longingly at the “Acne Stress control” looking alone on my vanity, I noticed my skin feeling slightly dry.  The next day I used the wash, (decidedly against the idea of rubbing the gritty texture of the scrub into my face again) and found it to be just as drying.  I spent the day avoiding face movements, as even minor ones where painful as my skin was so tight.  I washed my face at night, and hoped my skin would adjust.
The following day was even worse.  I found a moisturising facial mist in my draw and walked around in a constant haze of humidity.  I resolved to stop using the wash, after a final time.  That was yesterday.  This morning, I awoke to a red, patchy face, and my eyes had swollen up.  I looked like I had an allergic reaction, and people kept asking me if I had eczema.  Writing this review, I am so pleased to say that the swelling has subsided, although my skin is the driest it has ever been.  I don’t plan on washing my face with ANYTHING until my skin goes back to normal, and when I do, I’m returning to my old faithful, acne stress control.  Skimming through reviews on this product, I have found that I’m not the only one who has had reactions such as my own.  How I wish I had read them first.
I would NOT recommend this product for anyone with dry, sensitive, or combination skin.  Honestly, whose idea was it to add an acidic fruit to a salicylic acid face wash?  This has resulted in a wash with a super high pH, which could literally dissolve rust.  I would recommend it to people with seriously oily skin, but only to help with the oil problem.  I can’t see this product helping with preventing breakouts, as all it has done for me is suck my skin dry.  Be warned, this is a serious acne product.  Follow directions carefully, and avoid it altogether if your skin is dry, sensitive, or even if you have combinational skin.

Ok, so I use a lot of Neutrogena products… and so far so good. My brother thinks this will be the same as all their other facial cleansers, but pink! (:

Positives:
Its smells like orange juice (I’m not sure what grapefruit is s’posd to smell like… and it looks nice on the shelf.

Negatives:
It dried out my skin. That could just be because my skin isn’t suited to this product, but frankly I prefer the Neutrogena Foaming Facial Cleanser.
Also it tightened my skin ulike my bless’d regular cleanser.

The Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Oil Free Facial Cleanser lathers well and rinses off really easily. Its quite gentle on your skin and removes any dirt and impurities well. Even though its oil free, it doesnt dry up your skin and leaves your skin feeling refreshed with its crisp grapefruit scent.

The Oil Free Foaming Scrub is very gentle, effective and smells great. The beads in the scrub feel smooth and gentle on your skin but it does a really good job, getting rid of blackheads and clearing pores.

After seven days of using these two products by Neutrogena, my skin feels smooth and has less imperfections. This range is worth a try!

Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Facial Cleanser is a wonderful face wash. It not only looks cool with it’s see-through coral colour and pink microbeads but it smells amazing too. The fresh scent of natural grapefruit wakes you up in the morning and leaves you feeling energized to start the day.

Most importantly, the product works really well. It foams up and leaves the skin feeling instantly smooth and soft after just one wash. It gives your skin a feeling of freshness and that really deep clean feeling. It also takes away the oiliness. After just one week my skin is looking noticeably clearer. The difference it has made has been brilliant. I would recommend that if you buy this product that you use an oil free moisturizer after each wash, because although it works great and leaves your face feeling soft and clean ,after a while it can dry out the skin and because my skin is relatively sensitive, left it flaky and tight.

Despite the dryness, I would definitely recommend this product because it works really well and does everything a good face cleanser should do. If you don’t like strongly scented facewash or the smell of grapefruit then this product is probably not for you, otherwise you should give it a go. It’s definitely worth a try! smile
