Give dad a little Food for Thought this Father’s Day

With Father’s Day fast approaching (on 2/9), ChildFund has teamed up with some well known Kiwi dads to encourage people to ‘extend their family ties’ and help the victims of the Horn of Africa food crisis.
Specially developed to support relief efforts in that region - which is experiencing what has been described as the ‘worst famine in our lifetime’ - the $36 Food for Thought package can be gifted on behalf of Dad this Father’s Day, providing enough nutrient rich porridge to help a child survive for 90 days.
30 famous fathers, including TVNZ presenters Mark Sainsbury and Corin Dann, celebrity chefs Simon Holst and Brett McGregor, cricketer Daniel Vettori, sports commentator Stephen McIvor and comedian Jeremy Corbett have donated a traditional Father’s Day gift - a neck tie - to the cause. The first people to buy one of ChildFund’s special Food for Thought gift packages will receive one of these ties along with a signed certificate of authenticity.
This is a great way to help get food to millions of people who desperately need it! Click here to visit Childfund online and donate.
