Stress and your skin
The year’s wrapping up, which means there’s good times ahead! But, before you can let your hair down you’ve got to get through the end of the school year… which means exams, and of course, stress!
When you’re stressed your body reacts. Skin freak-outs, loss of appetite and difficulty sleeping are all tell tale signs that you’re feeling the pressure. The best thing to do when you’re stressed is take some time out, no matter how busy you are, to spend on you. Go for a walk, hang with your bestie, give yourself a facial or just relax in your room for a while. What you do isn’t important, but making sure you do it is!
Sticking to your regular daily routine will also be a big help when your schedule is hectic. It’s natural to rush through the things you normally do, or leave them out all together when you’re short on time. But following a regular skincare routine, eating a balanced diet, drinking lots of water and exercising not only helps you relax and unwind, it also plays a big part in keeping your skin clean, clear and healthy. Which means there’s one less thing to stress about!
If you’ve got a skin question, we’d be happy to answer it - just let us know!
