2 minute full body workout
Want a great full body workout? Our mate Ish has come up with this excellent Chair Challenge to tone everything from your calves to your upper body!
Here’s how it’s done:
Step 1 - Fill a couple of water bottles with sand (to use as weights), and take a seat on a chair.
Step 2 - Stand up, raising the weights above your head and fully extending your arms. Then return to a seated position in one fluid movement.
Step 3 - Repeat for two minutes, breaking as needed until your fitness increases.
Tip: Keep your abs tight the whole time!
At least 60 minutes of moderate to vigorous activity every day is recommended to keep 5-18 year old bodies healthy and fit, while at least 30 minutes of moderate activity every day is recommended for those of us over 18. Make the 2 minute Chair Challenge part of your daily 60 for a great full body workout.
Tip: Swimming is also a great full body workout!
